The Sherrod Foundation Inc. was founded on the idea of helping those in need. Since our organization's inception, we have consistently endeavored to provide assistance where needed.
Our team is comprised entirely of unpaid volunteers. We advocate for those who need our help because we know a little help goes a long way.
That is why we are pleased to find new volunteers who share our commitment to making a positive impact in the world. Would you like to support us by helping with our mission? The volunteer now button will take you to the volunteer page for more information. Don't hesitate to volunteer. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated!
If you have any questions about our mission, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we will be in touch with you shortly.

What is the Elite Donor Club?
The Elite Donor Club is designed to recognize those donating a higher amount to help fund our programs. We certainly appreciate all our donors and are honored to receive any amount.
There are no tangible returns for being in the Elite Donor Club, as the IRS does not allow donations for gifts or personal gain. We will recognize our Elite Donors, with their permission, on our website, and at celebration events.
-
How do you use my email address?
We are serious about personal privacy. We never sell or share your email address with third parties, except in cases where it is necessary for our business operations. For example, we enter your email address in our email program to send you the quarterly magazine, blog posts, or share updates on the Sherrod Foundation Inc. We utilize third-party services, such as Microsoft or Mailchimp, to do our email or marketing campaigns.
We never buy an email list and use opt-in forms on our website to obtain your permission before communicating with you by email. You certainly can opt out at any time.
-
Are you doing any in-person fundraising or celebration events?
We do plan to host an annual celebration and fundraiser starting in 2026. This will be a black-tie event in celebration of our seniors who are 50 years old and above. Those seniors may attend for free.
All are welcome to purchase tickets for this holiday fun event to be held in September.

How do you raise money for donations
We have three main fundraising campaigns. First, our '100 for 100' is an all-year campaign where we desire to get 100 people donating $100. Given the critical work we do in promoting health improvement and financial literacy, we hope you will consider being an Elite Donor and donate today. You may donate on our webpage at www.sherrodfoundation.org/donations.
Second, our company sponsor campaign desires to get 3 companies to support our mission with a financial donation.
Third, we utilize GoFundMe to request donations in support of two main strategic outcomes, which are preventing type 2 diabetes and financial literacy.
Lastly, we hope to have lots of fun celebrating at our annual black-tie gala and fundraiser. We will post the schedule on our website, so you may purchase your ticket and join us.
